Ordering From Gorgeous Things:

Browse through our catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. When you have made your selection, click on “checkout” You will then be asked to provide details so that we can process the order.

Delivery schedule.

We aim to process all orders, where possible, within 24 hours. Whilst most items will be despatched within one working day, please allow 1-3 days for delivery within the Republic of Ireland,  3-7 days for the UK, 5 -9 days for Europe and 7-21 days Rest of World. 

Many orders will be despatched via courier or secure postage solutions and will require a signature. Please ensure there is somebody at home to receive the order or, if this is not possible please provide with an alternative delivery address where a signature can be obtained. Delivery to work addresses, providing a signature can be obtained, are not a problem for us.

Please ensure that you provide both a billing and delivery address at the time of ordering.

Deliveries to Republic of Ireland

Orders over €50 are free

Orders less than €50 delivery is €4.95

Deliveries to the UK

Orders to the value of €100.00 = €7.95

Orders over €100.00 = €4.95

Deliveries to Europe and the Rest of the World

Orders to the value of €100.00 = €7.95

Orders over €100.00 = €4.95

If you require enhanced insurance, Special Delivery or an expedited service please email the above for a quote BEFORE placing your order. Gorgeous Things reserves the right to replace any of the above services, without notice, for a similar or enhanced service, where we deem it to be more appropriate.

Payment:

Payment can be made via Sagepay or PayPal safe online payments that allow you to pay with your credit or debit card. We accept payment by Postal Orders and Cheques (sent by registered mail drawn on banks based in the Republic of Ireland only.

Buyers from outside Ireland please note: WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHEQUES OR MONEY ORDERS IN ANY OTHER CURRENCY OTHER THAN EURO.

Packaging:

At Gorgeous Things, we want you to receive your purchase in the same great condition it left us. We use only good quality, new materials for packaging and take great care to ensure that happens. We too buy online and can assure you NO ONE takes better care of your purchases. In the unlikely event that an item should arrive damaged due to our negligence, simply return the item and a replacement will be mailed out within one working day, free of any charge.

Returns

Items returned because they are damaged, defective or incorrect:

In the case of damage, please retain the products and contact us on 026 45972 or email sales@gorgeousthings.ie within 7 days of receipt.

If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective, we will refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us. We will check all items returned as damaged or defective. In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item/s and to recover our fees and expenses from you.


Items returned within the seven-day cooling off period:

By law, customers located in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. All such returns must be unused and returned in their original packaging (this does not apply to damaged or faulty items). Please obtain proof of posting (free from your Post Office) when returning goods as we cannot provide a refund or exchange if we do not receive the original goods back.

Where you are returning damaged or defective goods

where you are returning an entire order, we will refund the entire delivery charge.

• where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we will refund the per-item charge for delivery that you incurred
• we will refund only standard postage charges for items delivered outside of Ireland.

Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item only and not the postage charges:

We will not refund the costs you incur in returning the item to us (unless it is faulty or defective).

CHRISTMAS 2010 RETURNS POLICY EXTENDED RETURNS DEADLINE

Unwanted or incorrectly ordered goods purchased between December 1^st
and December 23rd can be returned for a refund providing you
contact us via email to sales@gorgeousthings.ie by January
8th 2010 and return the goods by January 15th 2010.

All products must be in a resaleable condition i.e. all swing tags
and labels etc must be intact.

We will revert to our normal returns policy for all orders placed from Dec
23rd onwards.

All prices quoted are in Euro (€)

Prices may be subject to change due to manufacturers price alterations or change to the rate of Value Added Tax. In such cases you will be notified of any changes before your order is despatched.

We go to great lengths to keep your financial information private and safe. We do not accept or hold any credit card information. All credit transactions occur outside of www.gorgeousthings.ie. When you reach the stage at which you input your Credit / Laser Card information, you have left www.gorgeousthings.ie and are in the PayPal  or Sagepay site. All our payments are managed by PayPal and Sagepay.

We have taken this step in order to protect you from any loss, misuse or alteration of information collected so you can buy online from gorgeousthings.ie with confidence.

Privacy Policy

The only information collected is that given at the time of ordering, and that is necessary to fulfil customer’s orders. All credit card details are deleted once the order has been completed. This information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act. This information is not passed on to third parties.

Conditions of use

1. Gorgeous Things require you to open an account. You must complete the registration process and all the information supplied must be complete and accurate. You will be asked to choose a password, and the responsibility for maintaining the privacy of this account and password is entirely yours. Furthermore, you are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and you agree to immediately notify Gorgeous Things of any unauthorised use of your account or breach of security. 2. Once set up, your account will continue indefinitely, regardless of usage levels, unless terminated by you or Gorgeous Things. You can terminate your account with Gorgeous Things by calling 00353 (0)26 45972. Gorgeous Things can terminate your account without prior notice at the discretion of Gorgeous Things management. 3. Gorgeous Things reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which Gorgeous Things services are offered. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions and for additional terms posted on the Gorgeous Things website. 4. The Gorgeous Things site is for personal and non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, transmit, display, distribute, perform, reproduce, licence, publish, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any products obtained from Gorgeous Things. 5. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland, and the parties hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts to settle any disputes which may arise in connection with these terms and conditions. 6. By registering with Gorgeous Things you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
